The password system works well, I have used it to instantly get back to the level I was last playing and tried it on three A1200s and a CD32. It works a funny way, but it works. I guess the unlimited continues is kind of modern, but it's probably intentional.

A very professional product:
- good gfx
- the main character and the enemies are AWESOME!
- great music
- ingenious level design

I hope the scrolling will be fine-tuned, though.

This should have been a commercial game.

I think the element that gives personality to this game is roll down the ramps and jump.A game should to have something that distinguishes it from other and here it is.

why is it AGA only? No offence, but judging by the screenshots I see nothing that ECS wouldn't handle. It's nice to see a new Miggy game though.

It's using two 16 colour dual playfield screens and 32 bit wide sprites, hence the need for AGA. However I'm in agreement with you that it could probably have worked quite easily as an ECS game with a few more technical tricks to make up for the lack of colours.

I had the same question but with the The Misadventures of Flink game. This game works with a limit of 32 or 64 colors on Megadrive which is identical to the Amiga version. It doesn't seem to need the AGA chip on Amiga, however due to the limitations of dualplayfield on Amiga this is not possible in OCS/ECS.

For all of Mr. Beanbag fans what I tinkered with Photoshop.
The cover is the size of an individual computer box and thus serves as a slipcase.

http://amiga68k.de/?p=2321

I also have the matching disc labels made available for download.
Have fun and feedback or criticism are highly desirable.

Been playing this game since I first read about it on Amiga.org...
OK, the player char. should be centered, and is a little drab looking... But, I am having A LOT of fun with this game!!!

It's darn close to some commercial games I have played.....Very nice.

BUT, my only gripe is I have to turn chaches off, and run in Privileged mode to run on my A1200/060

I suppose he meant that, instead of having a box that is a parallelepiped, you could have box with a trapezoidal shape (similar to the hero) and with diagonal stripes all around (as done currently on the side of the box).

Text legibility might be a bit problematic then though

Mr Beanbag - CD32 Front and Back cover is finished! @ Amiga68k.de

After I recently created the cover for the cardboard box was Mr. Beanbag, the CD32 version is now completed.

In the archive you download the front and back cover is in the correct format for printing and high resolution.
