Amiga 1200 Tower Project

Hey all,

Just embarking on an A1200 tower project and thought I'd document it here. So far I've only selected the host case and shoved a low-profile PSU in it to start working out dimensions and such.

...and as you can see, the low-profile PSU means there's ample room to get the board in!

Now just need an absolute ton of parts and a lot of soldering and patience. Watch this space!

That MB has what you call breathing space!

Buy a PCMCIA adapter from Amigakit before you bed that MB in P-J otherwise it will all have to come out if you decide you want one later... and it is always handy to have the PCMCIA slot available.

Looking forward to the updates.

Thanks man. I do plan to have a network card in there, so guessing it's gonna be PCMCIA. Is the adapter just a right-angled one?

I plan on extending all the ports (including network) to the removable back panel (where the normal ATX motherboard connectors sit to make it nice and tidy.
