Have tried again with b47 using WinUAE launching from both WB and startup-sequence.

Deleted S/TinyLauncher
Scan completes.
No Tooltypes for games or demos.

Can't repeat the test I described earlier when tooltypes worked for games. Confusing.

Still have same problem and also with b48

Scanning up to appx. 600 and exit with an illegal function call

If I put the folders into a new folder and scans this folder I get this pictureClick image for larger version

Then I can go to menu and choose aga and program exit

What am I doing wrong ?

Very nice build!
Fastnav works great now with joystick and everything.
I have no trouble scanning my files now, but I am still using 1-level structure. I will try 2-level structure at a later point.

I have a bit of trouble with the NewIcons executable though, so if you can get around requiring this to be executed before Tiny Launcher, this would be great.

But I have to say, you are getting pretty close to a very stable and usable menu system.

BTW I have ABS installed, and I have tried it out, but I would like Tiny Launcher to start before everything else by default, so the user can get right into the demos and games. So this is the reason why I am not using ABS in my startup

I can confirm that B48 works great Sometimes the return from a demo to TL don't work (after pressing the quit key the screen just turns grey), but that's a minor detail really. Great work Gibs!

You can launch TL from ABS...
The idea (In the futur) is that you will be able to call an hidden menu to access your TL TOP20 (Favorites) and launch them directly from ABS.

Is the screenshot, what happen if you press a key ? Press key where ? Have tried during 1st level scan (nothing happen) and also during 2nd level and again nothing when pressing a key. Stops at around 600 and exit

Well I would say that there is appx. 2300 games in my gamedir
Directory is DHx:WHD/<0+A-Z+AGA+CD32>

ok. understood.
remove your /AGA & /CD32 from /WHD
It crash while indexing the letters for FastNav, only 40 are available.
I will fix this for avoiding it to crash.
But as you probably know TL is on the way to mix AGA/ECS...Maybe I will add a CD32 list for specific games. Maybe in the futur I will add custom lists.

Trying to play i.e. Agony just removed my shell and went back to Workbench without any error

perhaps this is because of the NewIcons ?
Where does your slaves comes from ?
Which workbench do you use ?
Have you read the KTC's post about NewIcons ?

The NewIcons stuff is from earlier in this thread.

Basically for tooltypes recognition, NewIcons needs to be run before TinyLauncher.

If you have chosen to install NewIcons in ClassicWB then TL can recognize NewIcon's ToolTypes.
ToolTypes Support is new on TinyLancher, it seems that it can detect TT on STD Icons but if you want to detect TT on NewIcons you have to use NewIcons (The App). I will add an option to disable TT recognition.
Maybe Bloodwych will add TinyLauncher on ClassicWB once it's stable, so you won't have to worry about configuration

2 Questions

1.) How do I run newicons ? If I do it from shell it just load but never release the program for the prompt

2.) Mods.. Is this single structure only ?
