Cdtv In Full Working Order - Near Mint Condition - Looking To Value It

Hi

This is my first Post, and hopefully it does not break any rules (sorry if it does)

I have a near mint CDTV with keyboard, mouse, remote, caddy, a few games on CD and stacks of games on floppy

I dont have the box for the CDTV but everything else is (almost) as good as it was 20 years back

I really want it to go to an enthusiast, so I wonder if anyone could give me an idea of what I should price it at - I fired it up the other day and am amazed how good the games are after all these years (it was well ahead of its time)

Hope one of you guys can help with an answer

thanks in advance

Paul

WELCOME

I would take a guess at no less than 100. BUT I have never bought a CDTV so I AM guessing.

I sold a new in box, inside an unopened shipping box (yes, two boxes) CDTV last year for $200 USD. The unopened pro-kit sold for $200 USD as well.

Usual is 80 - 100+ a fully loaded CDTV maybe upto 150 (disc drive, mouse, keyboard and a bunch of CDTV titles etc etc)

I remember that When Spandau Ballet wrote 'Gold' they were referring to the CDTV treasure chest

I still have the [ Show youtube player ] and the "Spellbound" CD32 prototype and memory board. After I determined that the CDTV-CR worked I just let the other stuff sit around.

After all was said and done I lost the shipping cost of both items after getting what I paid for them.

Rumor is Carl's basement is still not as clean as his wife would like and we are trying to lure him back to Amiwest 2011!
