How many GRAAL & GRAC2 adventures are there? Because those I found already are pretty awesome for PD stuff.
GRAAL: Escape from Hammy Town! [1999] by Jools Henn Muscarine or Erica's Trip [2000] by Rainer Appel Olaf Longhair Goes East [1998] by Per Thulin GRAC2: Entity [1998] by Antony Dzeryn & Edmund Clay & John Clay Epsilon 9 [1996] by Edmund Clay Experiment [1996] by Edmund Clay & John Clay Geo's Quest [2001] by Paul Golian Geo's Quest 2 [2009] by Paul Golian Keith's Quest [1996] by Jasper Byrne Lethal Formula [1995] by Edmund Clay Lord of Alcandria: Chapter II [1999] by Edgardo Federico Rutenberg Lord of Alcandria: Chapter III [2000] by Edgardo Federico Rutenberg Lost Prince [1994] by Edmund Clay StarBase 13 [1993] by Edmund Clay World Of Magic [1997] by The Bosco Brothers World Of Magic II [1999] by The Bosco Brothers For now GRAC2 wins hands down, better quality and bigger quantity. ![]() Last edited by Shoonay; 01 November 2011 at 21:26. |

I remember being in contact with the author of GRAAL, back in the day. He was working on a JAVA port of it at one stage, I wonder what ever happened to it, unfortunately the email no longer works, so I can't ask him.
I was working on a game baaack in the day, I have no idea where it is, even if I still have the files. Have to look around. I am amazed there is only 2 though, I thought GRAAL was easy to work with, and you could probably produce some awesome games with it. ![]() |

Edmund didn't write Entity and The Experiment. Starbase 13 and The Lost Prince were plain old AMOS games, not GRAC, though The Lost Prince's engine was later developed into GRAC.

@Vairn: GRAAL is much more difficult based on commands, so it's basically "easier AMOS build in AMOS".
![]() GRAC is just a point & click editor build in AMOS. @ant512: Okay, just checked, they aren't. But created by Ed, so I'll keep them ![]() Entity & Experiment were co-produced by Ed. Last edited by Shoonay; 10 September 2011 at 12:48. |

Speaking of GRAC, if anyone ever wishes to incorporate its game engine into e.g., ScummVM (whether by porting from AMOS source or a complete rewrite), note that GRAC 2 includes support for AMAL scripts.
I have written an AMAL interpreter in Java which may be of use for such projects (e.g. by porting it to C++), and perhaps some source from Alvyn/Mattathias Basic could also be used. Could GRAC gather enough interest for that? We already have GRAC games working with UAE + AROS-68k (as it is based on AMOS). But ScummVM? It would at least be a fun idea... |

@Mequa: would be even cooler if ScummVM got support for all AMOS games
![]() @rockersuke: thanks, added. EDIT: Found two more, Geo's Quest 1 & 2 Last edited by Shoonay; 10 September 2011 at 21:54. |

One more you can add to the list of GRAC2 games: The Dodgy Game
There is an entry on Moby Games. Not sure if it is worth adding to Lemon and HOL. Game is just three screens... |
