Unreal AGA Fixed

Not sure where to post this.

Can somebody please do an AGA fixed version of Unreal (1990)(Ubi Soft)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr CLS - RZR]

Currently it loads up to the title screen and then just sits there polling the drives, it should continue to load for a while before asking for disk 2 but never does on my 1200..(on winuae it works fine) have written back the .adf several times to different disks with the same result.

I have booted my 1200 with every possible configuration but it makes no difference.

I am aware that there may be AGA fixed versions available but i specifically want this one as i love the cracktro and the game aswell. (cracktro is important to me).

Try the quartex crack as that is the pal version, classic/razor version is ntsc. Try booting in ntsc in boot menu to see if that works.

I am curious to know if it is going to work, i never loaded it on my A1200. I am waiting for the answer too.

The Quartex version works.

NTSC booting the CLS/RZR release makes no difference but its that version i want for the cracktro (daft reason i know)

ok coming back to this thread it seems that the Unreal (1990)(Ubi Soft)(Disk 1 of 3)[cr CLS - RZR] release is OCS only??? I have tested it on a 1200 and on a 600 (both real) and a 500+ 600 and 1200 on WinUAE and it only works on a 1.3 500.

The pal version (Quartex) works fine on a 600 and 1200 so wondering why the NTSC version doesn't?, Is it possibly a bad crack? I can't see why a 1990 game would be OCS only?

Don't know why it doesn't work, maybe some routines are special... You should ask to Toni Wilen maybe

As far as I know, Unreal IS OCS only.

What I mean is: Unreal is not an AGA (or OCS-ECS/AGA) game. So, even if fixed to work on AGA machines, it will not have enhanced graphics etc.
On A1200 it will look exactly as on A500

I'm aware of that, in my first post I clearly stated I wanted an AGA 'fixed' version, not an AGA enhanced one.
