WB2FAST & WBAllocFast graphic glitches

I get graphic glitches in both tools, when i try to open windows or folders. Sure, i can use the redraw/update option and everthing's fine. Though it's a bit awkward. Any hints to avoid these glitches, which happens on a real Amiga too? ClassicWB LITE, A1200 with ACA 1230/28.

Bit confusing.

Does it happen if you dont use WB2FAST and WBAllocFast?
Is that screenshot from WinUAE?

No. It's obviously an OS hack, which put the most WB stuff into Fastram. It avoids all the Icon/folder Chipram eating but causes graphic glitches.

Of course. It happens on a real Amiga too.

Yep better to stick with good old FBlit/FText instead.

Fblit alone isn't enough for that. I also know the RTG setting in NewIcon prefs. But i want to stop the Chipram use after the boot for all kind of Icons completely, which works fine with both tools.

I don`t know the both tools/patches but it might be only a setting thing (if they have some). Or incompatibility with FBlit or other patches.
Alternativ you can try the hack "fscreen" (can produce the same glitches) what can run together with FBlit.

I dont know what the above patches are, but I do have fblit setup with cgx-aga and icons only seemto use fastmem. fblit on its own configured for os3.9 (no need for simplegels method) chip is still used for icons (with othermem set). With CGX-AGA running as well, Planes2Fast option ensure icons go to fast memory.

cgxaga requires an 040 as I recall so non of this really helps, but may be worthy of note for others in the future.
