Sound Issues after upgrade - WinUAE

Hi, please go easy on me as this my 1st ever post on any forum. Apologies in advance if i have broken any rules.

Problem - I downloaded and installed the AmigaForever value pack and used the WinUAE plug in to run some games. No problems with sound or performance.

I then tried to run IK+ but needed the A1200 kickstart so decided to upgrade to the Plus edition. Installed after finally grasping what an ISO image was. Played IK+ and all worked well. However 1 day later the sound on all of the games has slowed down and performance has slightly dragged - Could anyone explain why and how to fix???

Additional info = OS is XP

Open up the emulation configuration with the F12 hotkey. Then check Hardware and Sound settings.
