Lightbulb Multiplayer over a PC network

I've been thinking. It happens sometimes...

Is it possible to play Amiga games across a LAN, with control from each computer? For example, playing Moonstone, the one comp would have control of the one joystick port, and the other comp the other. Is this possible through something like WinUAE Kaillera - I thought it might be, but I haven't had chance to try it yet. And network Goal! sounds like too thrilling an opportunity to pass up
