Recently my mate gave me a 520 STE with colour monitor and HDD with a bunch of software, games and joysticks all for free... Before I set it all up I'm gonna order one of those joystick/mouse port extention leads from Ebay. removing the mouse to plug in a 2 player joystick always sadly wrecked the mouse port.

My first experience with the ST was my mate's 520 FM with power pack. I was blown away with the Space Harrier and Gauntlet 2 converisions...

Didn't the '520 have the mouse/joystick ports UNDER the unit? I'm sure I remember my pal's having that set-up.... In the end he got a couple of extensions to make life easier

Indeed, you needed a degree to lift the ST, to get underneath, normally it would take atleast to of you to insert / remove mouse / joystick for multiplayer.

Fun days.
