Hehe.

Really an awesome game.

Only improvement wish I have would be: 2 or 3 more levels!

Another suggestion, if it isn't too late.

Are the EXTRA icons random or fixed? The reason I ask is that the other day when I played it I found the XTRA letters and then had to wait 3 levels before finding the E - in the levels inbetween I found loads of X's, T's, R's and A's

Obviously, I'd expect the letters found in the secret areas to be fixed, I'm just wondering if the ones generated randomly when killing enemies can be done so that they don't generate letters you don't need.

Oh, I know folks are asking for more levels, but perhaps if you made the level editor available (and more usable?) we could create our own extra levels
The concept being similar to Chu Chu Rocket (Dreamcast game). Many of us back in the day exchanged dozens of custom made levels. I have a memory card full of levels created by other people.

Regards,
Lonewolf10

DJC, how will you call your enhanced version, something like Alien Fish Finger plus? Or Super Alien Fish Finger?

I believe they are random, but I like it. It would be too easy if they will appear in sequence. All the letters are honored by the same score, it will only help you to get extra life which imo is not much needed, and you are not given extra points for ammount of lives at the end of level. But I think it could play a role in the new DJC's system of rewards.

Letters are very much random, I've just checked the code for that bit. I think you are just very unlucky Lonewolf .

Level editor is not possible sorry.

I had not thought about that. At the moment it's just called Version 1.30. I don't think the enhancements are great enough for a new name tag. Super Alien Fish Finger?, I never knew there was a Super Nintendo version, I must get .

Hi all, at long last Iím happy to say the update to my game ALIEN-Fish-Finger is at long last finished.
Thank you for all the ideas and suggestions you guys have given me, some of which I have added to the game. Sorry no extra levels, or Map editor (maybe in another 15 years for that one), but I hope I have made up for everything else.
Thank you also to all the people who have donated to my charity, even before the update was out, which was nice. Keep them coming.
I'm happy with how it turned out. The Achievements addition should give the game some extra fun. Check out the read-me guide on the disk for extra info.
The download link to my full game can be found on my charity page below.

Have fun.

David J. Cruickshank

I am so excited! Please, David, could you also upload .lha archive? It would be easier for many of us just to downlad lha, unpack to Amiga hard disk and play.

Sure will.
I had a quick go, but all I was successful in doing was to LHA the icon to the game folder but not the folder it's self. How do you do folders and sub-folders? If you tell I will do.

thank you
