WHDLoad low framerate - tooltype options?

Hi there

As stated in an earlier topic, I'm having a lot of issues with WHDLoad (registered) operating with very low framerates in some games (Yo Joe! Bonanza Bros, Paradroid, Zool, etc. etc.)

My setup is an 68030 with 16MB fast RAM, running Classic Workbench, but is there anything I can do in the s:whdload.prefs in order to correct this?

I've tried the NoCacheMem option, but that doesn't help..

Any suggestions? And please, being a total N00b here, I would like more advice than just a link to WHDload-docs.. That programming language is not really my hometurf

What? Man, I HAVE to read the docs...
There's a global config file?
I feel like I need to tell myself to RTFM!!!

I wonder if I can place "PAL" in there to get my games to "default" to PAL rather than having to add that to each loaded... Bet so..

I haven't had to tweak my WHDLOAD configs on the games that much, other than the PAL thing, so I'm not sure what your framerate issues are.
My A1200 with ACA1230/28 hasn't seemed to really need any tweaks for the games I've tried.

I wonder if it's an issue related to your specific accelerator model???

You can have a look here (scroll down a bit) which settings can be set globally.

Thanx,
I hadn't gotten there yet, but it's just what I was looking for..

In fact, I don't see why I ever have to read docs, when I can just come here..

KIDDING!! :-)

That's twice I've needed something about WHDLOAD recently, and it was right there on the website.
(The other was a locking up glitch, that was TCP/IP networking running, right there in Known Bugs)

And it's a really well laid out Doc site too....

I think I'm just so used to Docs being really bad.. ;-)

Thanx again, and I'm reading the Docs NOW! :-)
