Does anyone watch this UK Information TV show? I stumbled across it when I was at my parent's house over Christmas. It has a regular retro segment and at the time they were talking about Final Fight. I didn't get to see much of it because everyone else groaned and I had to change the channel to keep the peace. It's not on Freeview yet unfortunately so that counts me out.

Good to hear it. I did a double-take when I saw that flashback to my childhood on a modern TV show. The last time I witnessed Amiga gaming on the TV was probably back in the Games Master days and even then it was hard to come by.

Have you seen much Amiga related stuff so far?

I've only started watching it about a month ago and I've seen nothing Amiga related at all. In the retro segments I've seen they've covered the Horace games on the Speccy, Nights on the Saturn and some more that I've now forgotten I like the format of the show though and smile at the brief Speccy loading part "cut scenes" between features The main more modern part of the show isn't bad either.

It seems to be repeated a couple of times every day all week on InformationTV, Showcase and Showcase2. But I've snapped into a rhythm of catching the new episode each week on Saturday mornings.

Oh well, we live in hope. I'm sure they'll realise what they're missing soon.

I managed to catch a few more episodes and strangely enough they all turned out to be the Final Fight one. I must have nodded off and woken up in Groundhog Day! It also featured Mad Dog McCree and some Monty Python game.

You can also watch it online at the Info site none demand, live even, but the quality is pretty shoddy.

Aha, thanks. They have a forum there which looks ripe for moaning about the lack of downloadable media.
