Hey Predseda,

thank you for your feedback.
Itīs nice to know that there are still some Enemy-Fans around.

We are working permanent on Enemy 2. A lot of (hard) work has been done.
But also a lot of (funny) work is now in front of us.
Expect the full game in late 2011.

Kind regards,
David

I have a serious problem running it from harddrive on my A1200. There is a script file named "Start", which I believe assigns game in the case of running from HD.

Code:
Assign ENEMY_A: ""
ENEMY_A:C/Type ENEMY_A:EF/TXT/astart.txt
ENEMY_A:EF/Anachronia >nil:
ENEMY_A:C/CloseWB
ENEMY_A:EF/Enemy2 >nil: demo
I added a project icon to it and try to launch it through IconX

It works until line 3: it displays the "astart.txt" and it also launch "Anachronia", which is the company logo. But thats all, it doesnt continue.

If I skip the line 3

Code:
;ENEMY_A:EF/Anachronia >nil:
It simply doesn't work, Workbench freezes.

I managed it to run from virtual floppy (FMS) if I skip the line 3, but then the graphics is truncated, so I tried to disable AGA chipset.

After it, I only tried to make necessary Assign (line 1) and then launch directly the file EF/Enemy2, or launch it unassigned, from FMS. The result is that I get into the game, but with many error messages, which I have to skip by Esc, Return or Backspace and finally I can even get into the game itself, but with corrupted graphics and the main sprite. Did anyone managed to run it from HDD? I don't want to run it from floppy on my real Amiga. There is also the file called INFO, where is written that the game can be run from HDD with appropriate assigns, that are already included.

SOLVED!

I adjusted the script as follows:

Code:
Assign ENEMY_A: ""
CD ""
C/Type EF/TXT/astart.txt
EF/Anachronia >nil:
C/CloseWB
EF/Enemy2 >nil: demo
And now it seems to work.

Works fine here with only the CloseWB line commented out. Started from CLI that is.

Preinstalled version in the zone (including the WHDLoad icon). Maybe someone could test if it works on a real machine?

It does! (but I haven't got a clue of what's all about and I keep falling through holes and dying horribly )

Yay! Well, for the 'it works' bit at least
Let's hope they'll release an English version soon. For the time being, maybe the manual for the first one might help : http://hol.abime.net/2856/manual

I hope with 2-3 button joypad support this time. Enemy was a great Action Adventure, but the controls weren't comfortable enough. Especially the jump was annoying. Even the Amiga version of Flashback allowed you to use a second button. Anyway, the demo looks nice so far.

The manual from 1st part is all right I think, the demo seems to be the same like Tempest of violence, but with different level-design.

Of course it should be mentioned that for the last couple of years the finished game can be found at Anachronia's website.

If only they'd release an easy play version of it like they did with the first game, I can't get past level three.
