Manuals for GFA Basic and Hi-Soft Basic 2

I'm looking for the manuals for GFA Basic and Hi-Soft Basic 2. Disk images with docs would be OK too.

Hi ricky500,

HiSoft Basic 2 Manual on disk (plain text format) is in the Zone!

Look for HSBASC2M.zip

I've seen the manual somewhere online.

I'll have a nose around over the weekend.

Alas, things don't seem to stay in The Zone for all that long--at least, I couldn't find it.... while one copy of the program survived, I can't say the same for the manual, which wasn't that good--as a physical book, anyway--to begin with. So, if you can point me to a copy, or re-up the file.....domo arigato

It's the manual for "HiSoft BASIC Professional" which was the predecessor to "HiSoft BASIC 2"; HB2 has new functions &c that make it better, for instance, in a multi-tasking world. E.g., one returns the lowest number file handle not in use, so you won't try to open a file number that some other program is already using. Also, the text-based form is much better for an attempted project of mine--"Can you say, 'Amiga Guide'?" Yes, if I ever get something usable out of it, I'll post it somewhere....

Yes, that's a very American social allusion....

Maybe this one is helpful?

http://amiga-manuals.xiik.net/manual...Manual_ENG.rar

Otherwise: I re-upped the text manual for v2 in The Zone again right now.

Cheers Josh
