@Jens

Not to worry, I think we are just curious to know how exclusive our little club is!!

Kept meaning to say, is it just you on your own? or have you a team working on these cards? I realise that a lot of praise has gone your way, but if there are others involved, just want to thank them too.

The biggest problem i have with these new 1200 cards are choosing what card to buy . The 28mhz has a great price but the other card has more power . Maybe il end up buying both

I developed the hardware, Oliver has helped on the logic design (he has implemented all the maprom, C0-mem and other options that can be selected with the ACAtune tool, also wrote the ACAtune tool), there's other companies involved who supply goods and services, and there's my employee who is doing all the manual work on the cards. It's not just me, and all the praising of my person seems a little over-done. Yes, I'm the mind behind all this, but I couldn't do it without help.

I preordered one as well :-) the 28 mhz 64 for now but if this is good and stays buyable for a while, I probably will need another for my other poor unexpanded A1200 :-D

Unless the Heavens fall upon us in the meanwhile that is :-P Or my apartment freezes over .. It hit 15 minus Celsius this night.. And 20 minus just a few miles up inland ..

I would also be interested in a soldered '030 version as I really never will exchange the chip .. I just need the memory, for Workbench and WHDload.

Btw is it likely there will be any problem with the RF shield on the A1200 that is sticking up directly below the connector ? I remembered reading some people had issues with that on the e-matrix acc...

We are awaiting stock at the moment. Hopefully next week stock will arrive. We have already started to prepare everyone packages in advance as we have so many orders to process.

It may be a problem with ACA1230, especially because it has a much "meatier" CPU slot connector. We've had some A1200's that had the upper RF shield bent, where installation was fairly hard - the bending migh have happened because of hard pressure to the keyboard, but that's just speculation.

Since I knew about this possibility, I have ordered the PCBs with the edge at an angle, so it will slide under the RF shield easier. Also, there are no critical traces on the PCB in the area where the RF shield may scratch the card - it's only a GND area, where contact to the RF shield means "GND connected to GND", so no worries there.

In some cases, you might need to open the computer and fix the RF shield.

So is that it for the ACA 630/30? Have we missed the boat, or are there likely to be any more any time soon?

Where does the ACA1230/56 ship from? I ordered mine from Amigakit the minute it was available but I live in the us and am wondering if it will get here in time for Christmas.

The 56MHz A1200 version is not sold out - only the 30MHz version of the A600 version is sold out.
