Problems with Picasso IV and 17" LCD
My Picasso IV works perfectly with my 17" CRT but i am trying to use a 17" LCD instead.
Whenever i connect the LCD i get "OUT OF RANGE" and no display on the screen. I managed to get a display if i hold the two mouse buttons and then press space and it switches to NTSC from PAL. But when i select BOOT the display goes again. Most probably because OS3.9 tries to switch back to PAL. I primarily use the Amiga for games in WHDLOAD |

Your LCD monitor does not support 50Hz PAL scandoubled screens.
You could switch the output frequency of the PIV scandoubler to use 60Hz+ for PAL screens. This will work in all applications but will have the side effect of making all scrolling slightly jerky. OR You can add the NTSC tooltype to all WHDload slaves (or perhaps as a global?) then everything should work nicely and scroll perfectly (if a bit faster). Not quite sure why after pressing BOOT your picture does not come back once the Picasso IV has initialised it's RTG screen? Perhaps that resolution & frequency is also out of range? Should only take a few minutes to fiddle with your settings in PicassoModeTNG, Monitors in DEVs & Prefs.

Pretty sure that it is very straight forward in the PicassoModeTNG tool I talked about earlier. Change the "Flickerfixer PAL" sync to 60Hz
