Am I the only one who likes the look of this?

Also, are these actually for sale, or just concepts?

They're real.

Fuck Barry! We have heard the Amiga and Commodore revival stories for 15 years over and over and over and over again but to no avail! And the technology that is being put forth as we all know is just a fucking PC in a keyboard.

We have a reason to not give a shit Barry "once bitten twice shy, bitten over and over again and its go and get fucked!"

If that's an Amiga then why does it have Windows keys?

Because it's made of magic and awesome rather than cheapo non-Amiga related hardware bits Sad thing is that some people will buy an under-powered, over-priced PC because it 'feels' more 'Amiga' than other PCs

Wow!

Over at Troll Central *cough*, there's several threads developing that have had the Trolls frothing at the mouth and getting all handbags-at-dawn with each other; Barry Altman really dropped a grenade into the middle of the Troll Kingdom *cough* and it's got them all excited....trademarks, copyright on artwork, even trolling each other.... I've not seen the Trolls so active for ages....

Way to go, Barry.

Let me put it this way; there are some Amiga sites where you take your life in your hands when you enter the Troll Matrix, and there are other Amiga sites that comparatively, are as flat as a millpond.... i'll leave it at that.....

*whistles*

@ Cloudane / TCD

Ok I sent a e-mail to cybernet just to see what they say and got this..

Christopher
Cybernet Manufacturing is the manufacturer of the ZPC-GX31 (PC in a keyboard).
We do not have any relationship with Commodore. If you would like to purchase from Cybernet, I can be reached from 6:30-3pm PST.

The ZPC-GX31 starts at $599.00. The standard configuration is an E7500 2.93 GHz CPU, 160 SATA Hard Drive, 2GB RAM, DVD+/-RW and a one year warranty. Our units are built to order so you have the choice of upgrading the CPU, RAM and Hard Drive. We also offer Windows 7-Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate in both the 32 and 64 bit.

Thank you Christopher and I hope we talk soon.
Thank You,

So I have to ask were is commodore USA getting them??

Chris

There's no guarantee that they are getting them, judging from the tacky website they have thrown together. I suppose they could be getting them from wherever they are being manufactured in Asia, as they don't seem to mind who they sell stuff to and take a relaxed attitude to copyright (sounds a bit like Barry Altman, really....)

It's all vapourware from Commodore, until you actually see it on a shelf with a price tag in your local electronics stores. Mind you, it's nice to have a price to compare with Commodore's pricing structure.

So... For $100 "value add" from Commodore USA on top of Cybernet manufacturing, you get... a commodore sticker? Awesome, where do I sign up?

Brilliant. You really can't make this stuff up: no-one would believe it.

@ Chiark

That's exactly the problem; no-one believes Barry.....and he doesn't like it.....and everyone now has 100 reasons why they shouldn't.....
