Hey,
You have some fundamentals to address. Mathtrans.library wont ever be part of a prod. There may be some copyright issue. don't know. Anyway, those prods won't "boot" unless this lib is there. Many prods are supposed to be launched from wb or shell (i.e. having libs: handy).
Regarding explode.library, why don't you decrunch those ? I did for the following:
Eremation-Nuts.dec
Fate-MegaFake.dec
Limbo-ExFlies.dec
SCX&S!P-TripToSurpriseLand.dec

Hi Asle,

Thanx for your response

Hmm, i remember Tcd doing me a demo with Mathtrans.

And about the explode.lib, i have no idea how to decrunch nor
i have the time cause i have got plenty of work with all the
other things i have to do with this demobase.

Thats why i'm asking for help ,if this goes on like this i am thinking about
freezing the project .

It's no fun doing this alone.

Can u decrunch some for me Asle?
I would appreciate it very much !

Btw, thanx for these 4 prods, they work OK now !

Requires explode.library = is packed with IMPLODER

You just need to get Imploder (3.0 or 4.0 - it's widely available thanks to the great work of Amiga Stuff) and unpack it inside there. It's a very well-done packing prog like PowerPacker, with great music even

xfd (xfddecrunch) from aminet unpacks and autodetects most compressed files, much easier and faster than "official" decrunchers.

or maybe even this one http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=52769

Oh Toni

I know that well, BUT:

Imploder has the advantage to be runnable from disk, even just by typing the name in the CLI without having any WB pre-loaded.

WHILST:
xfddecrunch will require a fully-installed WB and, of course, also need to be installed first on WB. All this takes time
Imploder: will NOT need any installation. Just fire up WinUAE with that disk Imploder is on, enjoy the music (lol), "explode" your stuff, have your unpacked file(s) back and voilà.

Though I'm aware of some of you guys having this "wanna run everything conveniently from HD" obsession

Wink

OK, add that one to your score!
(and put the stress right on "second")

Because, to be honest, I didn't check that eab thread anymore, but I only commented on that (regular) xfddecrunch section he was on about.

Whoo, thanks for the pointer.
An UAE XFD wrapper!! Who would of thought that...(hah not me, obviously)

Hi people,

At the moment I'm going through Sjakes list of demo's he's trying to get going. So far I'm doing well (ish) by making boot adf for the exe's that require external libs.

I'm running into some problems, I'm getting a lot of demo's saying out of memory despite having lots available, also some talked about turning caches on. Its a long time since I did this so any advice would be appreciated.

Also, there's a set of demo's I've not got to yet that require an 'xec.library' but I can find no mention of this anywhere, is this just a renamed exec.library?

Like I say, just trying to help, so any tips of needed assigns etc would really help me..

Hey,
Can't you provide us with a txt file of the "non working" prods ? Just asking .
For "Analog Congratulation"
get Analog-Jointro.dec as it was using an external library.
basic A1200 config will then do.
