I once had a PD game called Mr Wobbly Leg. It was a platform game.

I remember that (PD) game, but it wasn't a platformer, it was a Space Invaders rip-off.

@Akira, You wrote about the English translation of Hoi:
Quote:
Isn't that OI! ?
I don't know what OI means.

The most dumbest title ever is that of a C64 game:
Attack of the phantom karate devils

About perihelion:
the name is'nt silly at all, it's the scientific name for the maximum distance of the sun frim the earth (or it was the minimum? school days are as much as distant...) and it was significative in the game plot.
anyway i found it well written and awesome for graphics and sound. hope to have you intrigued!

edit: oh sorry! just noticed that someone had already said it all!!!!! well the second part is true anyway

I've never played Perihelion (I am not much into RPGs), I just remebered its name

What about sport games with completely generic names? Like "World Soccer Championship" ... I always hated games with names like that., because I could never connect the name with the game.

Edit: BTW, The Romance of Three Kingdoms, AFAIK, is a famous Chinese story (famous in China), that tells about the war of.. well, three kingdoms Many games were based on this story, and the characters involved it on it.

Anyway, not a bad name, but I've seen Populous misspelled in many ways.

John Madden Football / TV Sports Football.

I'm sorry, but can someone tell me where the Football was in these games ?

All I got to see was that horrible American Rugby-style game

And why was Sensible Soccer not called Sensible Football It doesn't quite roll of the tongue in the same way I guess.
