Minimig @ Amigakit.com

Hello,

2 days ago there have been some minimig at amigakit.com

I have purchased one (yesterday). the status is still "pending".

There are some rumors that Acube hasn't provided any minimig since 2 month.

So ? anybody knows if amigakit had some minimig those last days ? or it was an error ?

Regards

Hello,

I have bought a ton of products from them and it has never been any problems. At worst, it has taken some time to get it shipped, but the product has always arrived in excellent condition. If the product has run out of stock I'm sure you're getting your money back at once.

For more information on the order status, please check http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/...usExplain.html

I have also ordered at amigakit and it was fast and serious.

Now there's a difference between ordering and pre-ordering.

What I have done is ordering. If they said they had some minimig to bypass Vesalia, NGI etc it's not fair, they'd better have them in stock.

What I've heard is that Acube is not going to deliver any minimig until 10 August.

That's why I prefer to ask....

I'm a old customer of Amigakit, and I take lot of products from them. All items received fast & in very good conditions.

One, two or three days is normal for "Pending" status.

Wait a little more.

I Do not understand what you're looking for? How companies do business between each other or that your order will be fulfilled? Why does it matter if they have it in stock or not? Principal should be to get the product you pay for.

If it is about delivery dates maybe Amigakit is the one that you should contact.

1/ What is important is when my order will be fullfiled.
2/ I want it ASAP as it was labeled "In Stock"
3/ I am worried about the rumors I heard. I don't want my money to be taken in hostage. I'm not a bank.
4/ Yes it matter if they have them in stock, I don't want to receive my minimig when the fpga arcade/natami will be release.
5/When you go in a shop, you give the money and they gave you what you paid for the money. I have ordered a product, and by making this tread I want to know is some users have ordered some minimig those last days.
6/ I have contacted Amigakit, still waiting the answer.

Am I clear or not ?

Sorry, but do really have to make this fuss after just one day? I'm sure FOL and amigakit.com will comment later on it.

Send a message via MSN to fitzsteve
@gibs

Have you tried to contact Amigakit with your question via their support system?

That would be a better way to make contact instead of trying to contact them via a 3rd party forum.

Steve.

Thank you for your order. I am sorry, but before making a fuss in a public forum, you may want to read our FAQ section carefully here:

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/faq.php

or the Help section of our website:

http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/help.php

Our webstore operates on a real-time stock system. All items marked in stock are actually in stock. We mark pre-order items in your order history as Awaiting Stock (see link in post #2 of this thread)

Also we have not received any contact from you by Support Ticket regarding your order. If you had contacted us there, you would have received the answers to your query in a timely manner.

As I wrote earlier : "by making this tread I want to know is some users have ordered some minimig those last days." It's not about doing fuss...I was in fuss when I heard it was impossible for you to have them in stock.

So if you had minimig in stock it means that you are better that the one's spreading rumors.

BTW I really have contacted amigakit by a form, and I have received a confimation mail by "amigakit.com Sales". It was not an incident, so there was no reason to open a Ticket !

Thanks for the feedback, I'm happy that it wasn't a lie.

Please let us know the link to where these rumours are being written.

Sales Form is for sales questions only (not Customer Service/Support which this question is). You will have received an auto-responder email pointing you to the Support Ticket system.

Also in order history there is a button Raise Service Query to ask questions about an existing order.

Thanks for the information.

Contrary to what you have been told by a third unnamed party, who has trying to obtain your order from us- we have stock for your order and shipping costs from us will be consistent relative to any other seller in Europe.

Any doubts its best to ask us first.

Thanks people for the support.
I knew that Amigakit was serious but today I had a doubt because of a false rumor.

Yesterday, I have posted on a french forum that I have ordered a Minimig @ Amigakit and that they have some in stock.
Today I have received in my inbox a message telling me that they don't have any Minimig in stock. So I was stressed because for me it wasn't a tiny order...

Here is the message that I have received today (google translated):

--8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<

"I send this message to warn that, contrary to what
AmigaKit can say there is no stock cards Minimig
now!

And, for a very good reason: ACube did not
only available for 2 months!

We have a pending order with them, and
information, nothing will happen before August 10.

So, you see if you prefer to pay 25 euro fee
port instead of 10/12 euros here because we send all
our shipments from France.

In addition, we are the only ones who can deliver the same
time the ARM controller cards that greatly improve
potential maps Minimig.

I've added on my MSN contact list in case you
desire a more direct contact!"

--8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<----8<--

I have removed the name of the sender but I think I should have left it because he has stressed me for nothing.
Of course I will post, as soon as I receive the product

Sounds like someone wanted to sell the Minimig to you instead of letting you order it from Amigakit.

Thats pretty crappy on their part. Trying to convince you that Amigakit didn't have any stock and you should instead order from them.

I would post up whoever it is.

Got you stressed, I was stressed as I thought I was "Quality Testing" Fresh Air, .

Your Minimig was on test for 4 hours today, and will be dispatched in the next day or so.

That's one messed up phishing mail you go there, Gibs.... Good thing that those nice folks of Amigakit are hanging around on these trustworthy forums Keep in mind: Never ever trust third party e-mails. Ever.

@ other company spreading rumors.

Gibs, you're in safe hands with AmigaKit, they have the best customer service I've ever come across and their shipping/testing/support is excellent

AmigaKit in French means : beautiful woman giving you massage

Amikit delivers if they say it's in stock. It will take some days to get it, but you'll get it. It took 10-14 days to get my NOS Amiga 1200 from them just some weeks ago. "Pending" was there forever, but it did arive. Nice and well.

No need to worry.
