Developer Bounty for updated Catweasel Mk4 Drivers - Worth it?

Well,

I tried my Catweasel Mk IV in Windows 7 32bit with the dim hope that it would work. But no joy. I know there's driver support up to Win XP, but I was wondering if a bounty was raised, whether Jens or someone else could be convinced to provide updated drivers for Win 7 32bit and 64bit?

Catweasel MK4 drivers work in XP/Vista/7 32-bit. It does not work in any 64-bit Windows version. (and most likely never will..)

@Toni,

Re: 64bit compatibility - is that because of a lack of 64bit compatible drivers, or a physical feature lacking from the card?

Re: Win 7 - For some reason my Win 7 32bit installation wont let me use the supplied drivers, is there something special I have to do to get them installed?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Mark

Lack of drivers and I'd say it is also lack of interest because I have been asking for 64-bit drivers before MK4 was released officially

Latest (http://icomp.de/t/bin/CWMK42600.zip) drivers works for me on 7 32-bit.

EDIT: Writing stable Windows drivers is difficult, debugging is difficult, everything about drivers is difficult
(One exception is USB usermode drivers, no need to know or care about kernel mode or direct hardware accesses)

Hi all,...now that 4 years have passed...and lots of systems works under 64 bit OS versions...there isn't still a 64 bit driver for the Catweasel MK4, is it?

Did anybody tried to make it work under a virtual machine running windows 7 32bit?

thank you.
