TruePub application

I was looking at a piece of software on Aminet called TruePub - http://aminet.net/package/util/cdity/TruePub has anyone had any experience with this package? I want to run my A1200 with a normal VGA adapter running VGA mode to an LCD monitor and was wondering if this would allow me to view OctaMED v4 on the LCD monitor?

from the description of that commodity i gather that all it does is make private screens into public ones. This means you can then open other applications on that screen if they support this.
There is nothing in the description that states it will change the resolution/mode of the screen.
