Thunderhawk

Jaguar XJ220 (prefer it over Lotus)

Banshee

Universe

I cannot choose just one, each one is a different genre and all of them are great

Carvup (was as addictive for me as pacman) or warzone (to bad there wasn't any ingame music)...

Same with Lotus btw. Enemies never slow down if they hit obstacles. About Warzone and Banshee : Fine games for sure, but they are too samey to other games that are simply more fun to play

Oh? I'll have to check it out again, then. :-)
Maybe it is just less detectible in Lotus 2...

I found Banshee to be a poor SEU, even with the slick metallic GFX.

agreed, the difficulty level and complication of puzzles were rather disappointing. imo darkmere is best core game as for graphics, but I spent more time playing wolfchild and banshee

Skeleton Krew

I know it's repetitive but it looks great and I like killing things and blowing stuff up. Probably why I still enjoy playing Walker after all these years.

http://amr.abime.net/issue_92_coverdisks You can read on label "exclusive level". Is it new level or something what you can find in full game? I can not check it, I'm not at home.

It looks very familiar. Maybe it's 100% the same level as in the retail version, but they reused big chunks of it for sure.

I love Banshee... I have been playing loads of seu games on Saturn and mame lately and Banshee is very good in comparison... also I agree Gunbot I like Skeleton Krew as well - it isn't perfect but it's fun and it does look good.

Skeleton Krew was one of the biggest dissapointments for me The game had a big potential, but it remained unused imho.

I think Skeleton Krew should be controlled like Walker or Abuse.

But still - lack of weapons, lack of bosses, lack of any variety

Rick Dangerous for me, so funny!
Never got Banshee to work, as I only had an A4000 and it did not like the 040 or 060 CPU, pity, because it looked like a cool 1943 arcade clone and it was frustrating back in those days.
Until today I still haven't played it, but I spent lotsa time playing 1943 in MAME, after wasting tons of coins in the arcades in the 80s on 1942 (completed in the arcade!) and 1943 (completed in MAME using a cheat, was otherwise way too hard after a while even with a 2nd player buddy back in the arcade days!)

Warzone is excellent in 2 player mode. Also lots of secrets make the game even more enjoyable.

I can see that, unfortunately in 1 player mode its just ridiculously difficult.

I sent it back to Core Design and they replaced it with Wolfchild..... dear god that was just awful!

Thunderhawk got me hooked for a long while.

Dynamite Dux was a pretty good conversion for the time, and both Chuck Rocks were quite polished.

Actually it was a pretty decent conversion. The arcade version had slightly better graphics of course, but in my opinion the Amiga version is a little more fair in the gameplay department.

XJ220
Premiere

I did play Banshee and Rick Dangerous but found those a bit tedious for some reason. Never kept my interest level lit!
