For Sale Amiga 500+

As mentioned in my previous thread, i think it's time to sell my Amiga 500+ it's sees little use since i bought it, shame as it's a nice clean example with a very quite floppy drive, will also supply powerpack, leads, modulator mouse joystick, and even a few games on floppy as extra if req

I would like £30.00 (ovno) for all of the above

exluding Postage that i have priced at £10.00

I've included a few other's i snapped quickly last night but they dont really do it justice due to the lighting where the amiga's are i'll take some other's tomorrow to try and show it is very clean

Hi, how's the battery? Any leak damage? Does the RTC appear in the system correctly?

Hi all, i'm almost certain there is a battery still in there but no signs of leakage, i will check this shortly, and get a few more pics as requested, manic day so far! ... but will report back before the eve, as for postage i have no issues with sending the item out for europe but would need to semi package it again and get the postage priced for eu

You're welcome to have it back if you want it. Just let me know. I never did get it working in my A1200 anyway.

In the meantime, my Analogic 8MB expansion card has decided to work properly again.

hey all my apologies for not getting back sooner i have had no internet since i was last on not good !! first day back in work now and the net should be fixed at home from tonight (new router)

but yes this is still up for grabs and i must sell not swap as i have my eyes set on something lol, will upload the pics i took off batt condition and back ports etc

Just thought i should post this, as I’ve had a fair few enquiries on the thread and through pm>

The Amiga is still for sale but i am going to get some better pics and the others requested sorted out when home later on tonight (finish at 19.00)

but i have just today seen a memory upgrade to poss purchase and put in it, this would obviously affect the price i was asking and i'm thinking judging by the thread responses and pm's I’ve had it's gotta go in post order, so as soon as i upload pics and confirm on the memory upgrade it would be offered initially to the first person on the thread who posted

This is the fairest way i can see of doing it, just a shame i had connection problems at home this week

Right i'm finaly on line but firstly i must start with this,

Thank you to the various people who pm'd me with much higher offer's, but i feel it is only fair to offer the amiga firstly to the initial person on the thread who asked about it. I however lost the ram upgrade on e-bay as all i got when the auction was due was cannot connect.

... but after transferring the pics to my pc of the rear ports and (just) opening up the unit and getting some of the board i must say i am shocked it's in better condition than i thought inside.

No leakage from the batt all though i dont think it works, but i also snapped a picture of the 500 im selling next to the old one i had from of old the colour difference is shocking!

So i am now in the process of getting a private message together with the said pics to chiark to see what he thinks

if the sale does not go through i think the best place for it is e-bay, i feel this is only fair due to the msg's and amounts offered but will still upload the pics once the pm is sent.

I had allot of pm's on this one and a few e-mails with much higher offers and a few others stating it was a vary clean example etc, so i thought it best for e-bay until someone who contacted me at the start of the thread put an offer in, so i hope it's shortly on it's way there

if not i will report back, but update the thread as soon as possible

The only bit that has slight yellowing is the mouse. And of course the A500 has never been white and thats why it looks tanned up against my white Philips monitor

I'm sorry but this is my last A500 and it's here to stay, Also A500's are not really worth much so i'm better off keeping it (and i'm too scared to post it )
