Yeah for sure Exl.It extends already a great game experience into an even more personal one, if indeed like you say it's a well crafted work

@Adropac2: As mentioned, the T2002 engine fulfills the job as a Turrican with editor quite good.
Click the link in my signature, to see, what is possible.
Download "T2002Setup.exe", "T2002E_Update.zip" and "T Starter 2.7 (plus Mono).zip" at http://www.turricanforever.de/ in the download section.
Fist, install the game, then apply the Update, and then extract the Starter into the game directory. To play custom level packs, execute "T Starter.bat". You can download every level pack with it. I recommend Underearth, Morgul Returns and Metroidican for a start.
You'll find the T2002 level editor at lvl/Editor .
Team Pekaro allowed us (The http://www.turrican.eu guys) to publish the flight level editor, too. If you want it (We didn't release it in the open yet), or have any questions regarding the editor, send me a PM.

@Exl: If your Doom maps actually are DoomII maps, I'm interested.

See http://www.doomworld.com/idgames for a good thousands of level sets for Doom, Doom 2, Heretic, Hexen and the likes. I recommend Scythe, Suspended in Dusk, Alien Vendetta or Des Vult for some good examples of great design work, both in looks as well as gameplay. Some of my work is among there under the author name "Exl" as well.

Nice wads, Exl!

Adropac2, You could feed the graphics from Turrican2Spy into the T2002 level editor, to create some 100% Amiga looking levels.

The scans for the only preview of Turrican 2 from The One issue 28 are now on the Amiga Magazine Rack for those that haven't seen it before. There's some interesting pictures of the graphics in their raw form.

A pet hate of mine is people that don't know the difference between a 50Hz refresh rate and 50Mhz though! The preview is full of 50Mhz this and 25Mhz that. Hang your head in shame Kati Hamza!

You can see the "Unknowns" in action in this video, too.
Very interesting, thanks for the video Bronko!

Thanks a bunch. This is precisely what I was looking for.

I needed to have an exploded view of the turrican maps for a commercial videogame project that I'm working on.

I need to get some level design tips. Very handy indeed.
Cheers.
