Seriously now this is naffing me off with regards to retro computer items (be it games or hardware) and I'm sure it does with most of you too... So I have done a poll!

I dont see the point really. No ones ever going to type rare amiga game in search box. And if you know what your looking for, youll know weather its rare or not.And when put rare on coverdisks, joysticks or mouses.....

I agree with seuden, realistically RARE should be left to books and maybe vinyl records that have stood the test of time. Calling everything that you can see a multitude of everyday Rare is just plain annoying and on top of that you get idiots who put the prices up to stupid amounts and some MUG Ahem COLLECTOR is probably stupid enough to pay it!

here on the local auction the word RARE is one of the most common, together with "legendary", "cult", "collector" and "hard to get"

*SUPER RARE* Amiga 500 for sale in supermint condition. It even has its nice yellow colour intact. I tested it and the power LED came on so it probably works ok. Some fluid came out of the diskdrive when I found the machine in the garage. I don't know this stuff, but it can probably be fixed by someone competent.

Choose buy now and I'll even throw in a near-mint copy of Double Dragon II.

Stick out tongue

GREAT!

That word "auctionese" should really get added to the common dictionaries (Oxford, Merriam-Webster...) sometime!

Now you're all set to enter the heady world of auctions! Do remember plenty of asterisks and bangs though. They're subliminal signals and will make people automatically bid more. WOW!
This guy shamefully forgot about using a 24+ pt font because most of the bidders are all blind as bats. Yes, sure.
