Question Wireless Networking with A1200

Ok... Again I come for advise, help AND to learn from all the knowledgeable Amiga Guru's. This time is setting up my A1200 with my ATT Uverse wireless. I just found my older SMC EZ wireless PCMCIA card model # SMC2632W (in an old laptop bag) I read somewhere that this card is compatable with the AMiga PCMCIA slot. What Drivers, libraries and software would I need to get it up and running on my system.

Prism.device from Aminet have the device driver and compatibility list.

Pending in which version of Workbench you are using best TCP stack is built-in Genesis (OS3.9) or then Miami for Workbench 3.0/3.1.

Genesis is good for 3.0/3.1 too. If you can obtain separately sold version or NetConnect package which included it also.

Or if you have unexpanded A1200 (== not enough memory), you can try to set it up with older AmiTCP/IP versions.

If you want to try quickly if the card works in first place, you can test it with Network Boot Disk

Remember also that A1200 has a reset bug in PCMCIA and fix for that is needed usually. It may be hardware fix or software fix (search cardreset and cardpatch from aminet). If you don't have any fix for it, you need to hotplug the card before it works.
