Indivision AGA 1200 - Jumpy picture

My rather nice indy is shaking/jumping the picture once in a while... It's annoying!

I've done the following without luck:
* Clean lisa's pins with isopropanol alcohol
* Clean indy's socket pins with isopropanol alcohol
* Sand indy's socket
* Exchange all caps on the mobo
* Measure PSU voltage lines -- they're fine (ATX 360W PSU)
* Upgrade the indy firmware to the latest one

It's a rev 1D.4 mobo... It's not the PC screen, and this problem doesn't appear with my 1084S through the RGB port. What should I do? Sometimes it helps to push the the indy down while it's on, but even if it's seated like a couch potato it will start to jump/shake the picture once in a while.

I get the same thing, black lines and the picture jumping all over the place, but it seems once the indivision aga warms up then it becomes solid again ...

This problem is quite common - do a search on the Forum (keyword - Indivision) and you will reveal quite a few people suffering the same situation... there are different opinions as to why this occurs...

Thought that solved overheating problem.

Im sure I seen this exact problem before. It was either;
The indi was'nt seated correctly or The indi had gone faulty.

Id check, its seated right first. Then I would flash it with an older core, maybe 1.4 and see what happens.

Are you serious about this? Does this apply to 1D.4 too..?
EDIT: Checked now, my 1D.4 does have a ferrite bead there indeed, not a resistor. Should I continue?

Hey Bubsy, it's not an FBlit-related screen shake/flash is it?

I really doubt it, as it does not happen through the RGB port
