WHDLoad and Keyboard Problems
hi there,
i am experiencing problems with some whdload-games and my ps2 keyboard, connected to my a1200 via lyra2. e.g. pinball fantasies works fine with it, while pinball mania doesn't respond to most of its keys. space bumps the table as it should while the flippers don't seem to work. f1 works only sometimes and so on. it the settlers (german) i cannot type in the name of my savegame. generally the keyboard works fine. does anyone know what it can be? i have already tried the recommended tooltypes.. best regards! |

sorry to dig this out again, as it seems to be a very special problem...
i have finally tried the original disk version of pinball mania and had the same keyboard input problems. nothing to do with whdload! the keys sometimes respond, sometimes not. and sometimes keys seem to remain pressed, e.g. i press right shift once and release but the right flipper stays up. i have also tried it with a different ps2 keyboard - same result. don't get me wrong, i am not absolutely mad about pinball mania but the fact that something in my setup doesn't work as it should bugs me. pinball mania is just my reference game to test. some other games showed the same effects while the most accept my keyboard totally fine. normal wb-usage is also no problem with the keyboard. my setup is shown in my signature. so if someone had an advice what could be the cause, i'd be very happy to read...
