2 games by kalisto on the amiga??

Some time ago I bought a game pack containing 5 kalisto games for the PC. These included Fury of the furries, Breakline and S.C.Out

Problem with Kalisto's games were their really pickish system requirements which means it's almost impossible to get them running on a modern PC now (couldn't get breakline running for a while either).

I know Fury of the furries was released for the Amiga, but was S.C.Out or Breakline ever released? S.C.Out was a somewhat puzzleish game which should've had a fair chance of being converted since it's basic gameplay and graphics was simpler than fury of the furries.

Breakline on the other hand might not have been converted which is a shame since it's one of the best breakout clones I've played yet what with the hills on the playfield and other features. Unfortunately this also featured high res graphics which might've been too much for a normal Amiga.

Any info on these two games? (They're not in tosec, I checked.)

As far as Breakline goes, AFAIK it really wasn“t released on Amiga, I did a search some time back myself

Oh well. Guess I'll have to learn how to put hardware together and try putting together a computer specific for DOS games.

Why not using a PC emulator? Bochs or Virtual PC?
I never tried that but it may worth the trouble...

A lot of games on the PC (especially back then) were pickish. I don't recall FotF being pickish on the Amiga. Quite the contrary, it was one of the few games that allowed you to choose PAL or NTSC! Their programmers were probably more fluent in Amiga coding and the difficulty getting the games to work on the PC were due to the shortcomings they had to work with (not unlike Cinemaware's adventures in PC game programming in the golden era).

As for S.C.Out having a fair chance at being convrted to the Amiga because of basic gameplay and simple graphics, I'm sure the Amiga would have been up to the task. It was more than likely nothing to do with machine stamina, but the dwindling numbers remaining in the commercial Amiga scene that held those games back.

Well they did a very good job on Fury which is why I had hoped the two others were there as well to make it easy to play those as well.

As for S.C.Out. I believe it was released before Fury.

I'll look into those emulators.

FotF was indeed good, but I still managed to spend more time playing S.C.Out and trying to get breakline started.
