the journals of jordan mechner

http://jordanmechner.com/old-journals/page/5/

Just passing along a link here that was not only a great source of entertainment to me, but also highly educational. This journal details the long, drawn out development process of the original Apple II version of Prince of Persia. Note that it is a journal, not a technical manual; everyone can read and understand this. It is really an eye opener into the game development world of yesteryear.

Oh yeah, and there are plenty of fun videos to see of how this game came into being!
