you should be fine using an original install method(s) on a CF card i think - but for WHDload, running on an unexpanded A1200 will mean OS-flashes during loading if there is not enough memory :/

ICFTD from the Cinemaware site is probably still broken, disk 3 has a read or checksum error iirc.
