Golden Axe VS Streets Of Rage

Both of these games are classics for the Sega Megadrive and they both came together as part of the Mega Games 2 Cartridge but which one is your favorite?

Streets of Rage. I like Golden Axe, but SoR is one of the best beat 'em ups ever

Streets of Rage. It has a better gameplay/music. SoR II then is probably the best Beat'em up for the Mega Drive.

Personally I prefer Golden Axe but then again i've always liked games that featured old age stuff. I like the magical aspect. But SoR is an absolutely amazing game. I completed it earlier with a friend to bring back the memories and I have to say it was easier than Golden Axe. Just received a Japanese Golden Axe 2 today. I'm going to play it later. Should be fun.

Axe!

IMO the first SoR is hard to play after you've spent so much time on the 2nd (countless hours, still being clocked!). Still great, but lacks that extra polish.

Streets of Rage, simply for the music alone, which is some of the very best on the Genesis.

Definitely Streets of Rage for me (although they messed up the PAL version or SOR 3 ).

SoR! though i do like swords more. Also love how you can turn on your co-op partner at the end of the first game.
