picture errors in PSP 6

when i save a image (gif, jpeg etc) in paintshop pro 6, the bottom half of the image is knackered???

i recently installed PSP7, could this create a problem? PSP7 has no problems at all, but i still want to use PSP6

I don't use Paint Shop Pro but like Photoshop I know is plugin based, plugins for image filters, plugins for file types.

Because you installed PSP7, this lends me to believe all versions of the program share a group of common files, should you install a newer version of PSP you are also installing updated plugins.

Thus the newer plugins may not be utterly compatible with older versions of PSP, resulting in said graphics corruption.

Just my theory.
