AExplorer ** User Abort Requested **

hi there,

i am running an A1200 ks3.1 Amigasys4 OS3.9 System with idefix-express, 2cd-drives, a cf-hd and a 2.5" hd, blizzard 1230-iv 50mhz with 50mhz fpu, lyra2, cocolino and a 3com pcmcia network-card. a few tweaks like fastexec, blazewcp, fblit etc. added.

i have setup genesis (opened port 356) and aexplorer and transfer wouldn't work for a while. until i enabled the log option on the amiga side. since i did that transfer generally works fine but every now and then...

- always when i select a directory of the amiga hd on the pc side of the explorer and afterwards go back to the parent directory -

...a requester pops up: "AExplorer ** User Abort Requested **" - options "continue" and "abort. as i click "continue" everything works fine again.

how can i get rid of this requester?

best regards and thanks for any help!!

i have spent endless hours of testing to get rid of this system requester "user abort requested". all i can say is that it also occurs in a plain os3.9bb2-setup and it occured with miamidx in the same manner as it did with genesis. port 356 is open and ibrowse works a charm!

can someone help??

navigating through the subfolders of the partitions in Amiga Explorer is no problem. but everytime i go to the main folder where all the drives and partitions are shown, the requester pops up on the amiga side. remember this requester only pops up when logging activated on the amiga side - when i disable the logging feature i am getting timeout issues. what i have also noticed is that when i change folder properties on the pc side in Amiga Explorer, while applying them the requester pops up a lot. tried a lot of different folder settings with no result.

any ideas...?

You should ask Cloanto for help. It's their product after all and you paid for it (I hope). They offer support just for this purpose.
