Nobody mentioned 'the settlers', or 'slamtilt' - or 'stardust' faux star wars.

@Burseg - But 'Sindicate' was the best I've seen.

Pinball Illusions had a strong impact on me.

Maybe Zak McKracken too, because I have memories from when I was a kid and sat at home during the summer break and watched this intro in awe - did I love that game... still do!

Man wierd!!!

Pinball Illusions had/has a massive impact on me too.. and the freaky thing is I am ACTUALLY listening to the music as I type, and as I read this reply

It rates as one of my all-time fave amiga tunes and is preserved on the Demo DVD (Well the intro is, gotta do the title music also)

Pinball Illusions - the intro starts - 'Way back in 1992...'

Everytime I see it, it makes me feel old. Eleven years since I first played 'Nightmare' from PDreams via a cover disc. Eight years since I first got Pinball Illusions. I was still at college then.

Makes me say... 'I have wasted my life.' (Quote from the comic shop guy in the simpsons)

Hey bippym old buddy old pal, how's it going?
Does that 80Gb of other Emu-Stuff contains Amiga ** or perhaps the complete CD collection of CD32 mags like CD32 Gamer?

Erm.. nope... well it has whatever Tosec has!

It /CAN/ have about 20Gb of Amiga CDs (W&r3z) which are on another HD so, that'd take it to 100gb, then there is the Goodxxx not on there either (Another HD again) which can be linked I suppose.. taking it too Ooooh!! 110Gb

Maybe not the "real" mythos but a good intro with great music never the less.. Most of core designs intros where good.

Another world and Lemmings on close second place.

my favourite 3

1. Defender of the Crown
one of the first games i saw on the amiga and my all-time favourite

2. Blood Money
by the time the intro song was sooo cool, i actually recorded it on tape

3. Rocket Ranger
until year 2000 i skipped it by hitting the fire button without knowing that there is an intro

Thumbs up

Cruise for a Corpse
Lost Vikings
& X-out all very well done & suit the tone for each relevant game very well.

Although of PC origin, still an Amiga conversion,so a small mention to the Leisure Suit Larry Sequels 2 & 3 which did neat jobs of explaining Larry's latest misfortunes after brief recaps as well.

And of course Cannon Fodder, though only static screenshots, the Sensible gang complete with the classic intro song sets the tone well.
