Amiga midi interface

hello Amigians,
most of you certainly know the possibility to connect an amiga via nullmodem
(serial-cable) to the pc an transfer data. I used this option several times a few years ago.
Meanwhile i own a midi-interface for the amiga with the same serial-connection-pin (mother 25 pin) on one side of the midi-interface.
Therefore this midi-interface would also fit into the serial-connection port of my old PC (like the nullmodem).
My Question is, should I give it a try, to connect the amiga-midi to the pc, or
is it too much of a risk?
Even if nothing gets damaged, i still lack of drivers for the amiga-midi, right?
thanks in advance

Check the serial pinout of the Amiga and the PC. AFAIK, MIDI on PC is always achieved through the joystick port, I have the connector here somewhere. You wouldn't need drivers for a standard serial port, beyond the mainboard drivers, you just have to set the speed right, stop bits, parity etc.
