One thing is sure the most important is the winuae compatibility with all amiga, this challenge is more difficult and more interesting than implement a filter but perhaps if one day Toni has more time, he will have a closer look to this. And remember the work did Toni is just amazing and the work he want to do for increase compatibilty is a huge hard work.
Thank you toni

'Got a little something for you. I went a bit further along the road of testing filters, and I have made short clips of the most popular ones, while running Menace in demo mode with the assistance of Camtasia Studio & Powerstrip.

The complete archive contains 6 clips among which is a "reference" clip (the no-filter bearing one) + 9 (!) ones with various filters in action.

You understood that before this lenghty testing was achieved, I wasn't really sure which one would look better, and thus that I was somehow anxious to get on the right track, reading your posts on the matter, for me to stick with such filter, didn't you ?
Now, I have my kicks about it (sort of).

May these clips be of some help in deciding which filter to set for future generations of lamulating Amiga'ians (I suggest also watching these from a CRT or a "TV-like" LCD if you have the chance) !
I have updated my "capture videos from an emulator such as WinUAE" HowTo (mind you, it's still valid to some extend, not the least ashamed of it) and now I should try to have it published somewhere.

EDIT : Expanded and enhanced set of clips

@Deleauvive; could you please stop deleting your posts and then reposting virtually the same thing every 2 days

I'm sure whoever you've directed your orginal post at has read it and just not responded as yet. They / we don't need reminders that your post is there...

Also, there is such a thing as the Edit button.

the 1st one is scale2x+sf with others settings : bilinear+hires and double, 1152x864
and the 2nd is 5xbr-v3.8c+bilinear same than the other but lowres and simple.
i have no slowdown on my hardware but you need a fast computer.
what i like with the first one is that it's has a good looking even with hires graphics.

sorry i did a mistake, the first one is scale2x+sf but 2sal2Xaa is one to try too. After with some games it's better with others resolutions.
I will correct the faulty post.

give it a try and if you have any mistake, i'll help you if needed.Normally yes, if your computer is strong, it's golden.
Now result can change a little from one game to an other but basically i think it still good with the first (scale2x+sf) with hires and double settings.
Don't forget that this is a question of taste, some will say that this is a big mash of pixels.
