Looks like you are on the right track then. Maybe the demo version includes all needed assets and they could be dumped to that location for compiling purposes ? Or a run through the code to see what files it wants to include for compiling. There must be some sound, gfx etc loading routines.

Just wondered if anyone had heard of this game...

"CyberTech Corp" by Tim Caldwell

Another Alien Breed Clone from 1994 that was an Amiga Format Competition winner.
A PD version of the game was released which only consisted of four levels, however in the readme file of the game the author did promise more levels and a map editor.

The AF Competition PD version of the game is quite easy to find but I was wondering if anyone knew of a different, newer version that included the additional levels.

I will drop the author a line (it's the same old story - hopefully he is still contactable at the address stated in the readme file) However if anyone has any info on the game please post here.

I will zone the PD version of the game (2 disks) - it is an AGA only game and is very fussy about having 2MB to be able to run.

You can check out a little Youtube clip [ Show youtube player ]

Excellent - the more authors that are still able to be contacted the better!

Hi Peter - thanks for starting such a great thread

The game that I'd most like found is Beetle. The demo is kicking about, but no-one seems to have the full version.

The Jan 94 cover disk B from "The One" featured the Shareware version of "Beetle" An A1200 only game.

It gets a great write up in both The One and Amiga Power (see attached AP review)

If anyone has any more information about the game please post here.

I will zone the demo for anyone interested... I will be sure to check this game out to see if we can get hold of the full version.

I have managed to get the F1 Licenseware titles that I mentioned a few days ago...10 games and 6 music disks (game music for game makers) - Considerably more title added now...

See attached picture for details...

All the titles can be found on the EAB File Server - check folder "User/Peter/Games/F1 Licenseware"

All files are DMS

Added some more F1 items today... please check my user folder on the EAB Server as detailed here...

Any feedback on the games is welcome... Bubble Trubble plays well and I (like Zandig) have been playing Parasite as well.

Does anyone have a way to contact Alastair Murray, the author of Kill'em All? It's a nice side-scrolling shooter a'la Alien 3 with a PD consisting of 4 levels.

The other game I'm looking for is Dark Citadel by Rob Massey (F1 Licenceware). Any chance here? I might still have a demo somewhere...

Dark Citadel is in "User/Peter/Games/F1 Licenseware" on the EAB Server - it is 4 disks in DMS Format.

I will check "Kill'Em All" when I get a chance - I think there was a demo of it on the server...
