You're right nikvest. The Blade version is an exclusive German translation for that site. However TOSEC misses the second disk for Enemy in English. Not sure if it matters for the game though

Any news on any of these Peter? Can you give a list of people you are still trying to track down?

When I get a minute I will have a search through and see what's outstanding - have to be honest though, I've heard nothing back from the last few letters I wrote... it is always going to be a long shot hunting down these old games and authors but sometimes it brings other games to light and it has made some additional F1 titles available to us at least...

I was just thinking if you can give me a list of names of people and games that we are still looking for, I could spam people on facebook - luckily, most (if not all) of these are by male coders, and so their names should have remained the same

I'm still particularly looking for Beetle AGA (Full), Morton Strikes Back AGA (Full) and Argus (Full).

Ah, and while I'm here, can I ask where these games are being uploaded when found? Do we have a place on EAB for keeping rare stuff so it doesn't get lost again?

Isn't that just the demo of the AGA version, or is it the full retail version? If it is the full version, when did this one pop up?!

On the EAB File Server... the folder "Games PD (Full Versions)" is where you will find any full games that are discovered.

You can also check my user folder - User/Peter/Games for some interesting stuff including some F1 full games...

Is that from a readme txt, or in-game credits? Unless they were expecting cash payments only, I'm really surprised that the author of a shareware game set up a company name and didn't give their own details anywhere! Was it a one-man development team? Does HOL or Lemon Amiga not have any artist or coder credits?

I guess I'll answer many of these when I get home from work. Bloody firewall :/

I've googled for Unique Styles (+amiga + beetle variants) and found nothing

...however, from searching here it seems an ex-eab member called MackMack actually had a copy of the full version on floppy disk. Is there any way of moderators retrieving ex-members contact details so we can drop him a line?

In my notes I have found two possible names... JR Evans and DR Hall - not sure where I got these names from to be honest - I will see if I can check the disk later (not on my Amiga at the moment)

Hi TDC - Beetle Demo in the Zone

The two names I mentioned btw... Evans and Hall (Unique Styles) are correct.

It seems from google that JR Evans (who I assume is the coder) released some other games as well (Blaster, SolidSquad/SolidQuad?).

Might be an idea to look at some of those and see if there are any other contact details.
