So this is another release of Hammerfist but from Anarchy or did they rip the already cracked version and stuck their own cractro/intro on it?

I've seen where this has happened before, actually cracked by x group but group y rips the title and re-releases it with their own intro/cracktro

Yeah that would be the case i mean in my time on Amiga i saw that many times, i mean 1 game cracked by 4 different groups or maybe just rebaged with group x,y,z,a,b,c or even with just trainers/fix'es added etc

Still it is the 1st thing i saw on my own Amiga500 which was a moment of disbelief i couldnt believe i had my own Amiga after near 5 yrs of waiting (well maybe a little less) Still i had a big smile on my face when i 1st booted it up i must have listend to the tune / watched the intro for like 10 mins before i ran it.

Sad i know but true

anarchy

Anarchy didn't EVER crack anything!

They were purely a demo group, and occasionally wrote cracktros for crack groups.

Possible that they did a games compact, but Anarchy NEVER cracked.

So did Fairlight do both cracks and cracktro's?

Hmmm

Fairlight of course cracked (!!??) and we wrote our own cracktro's, occasionally using others written by other groups.

Strange question!

Not too strange as I've seen so many different groups over the years that I kinda forgot whom did what.

Did anyone or any web site ever compile a list of groups and what they did?

I've seen info over at BTTR that has some demo scene makers and wether they are still active or not. Just never seen anything for crack groups

Not too strange? We're talking about Fairlight! Go check isonews and see...

By the way, I just wonder. What's the connection with old school fairlight and modern fairlight. I understand if Galahad won't answer for security reasons though.
