Superfrog 2 Agree?

Dear EAB users. Do you remember "Superfrog" - a memorable classic by Team 17? If so, what would you say to a new instalment of this game? A new mission, new adventures, new capabilities. 6 worlds with 4 maps in each of them, plus 5 bonus maps. All this set in colourful 2D graphics you're familiar with if you played the first part of the game.

So, would you opt for a new version? or Please, post your comments.

...
Sorry, if I'm posting it in the wrong thread, but I'd like you to give your opinion on our project"

@Edit Answer for questions
The game is being made using Game Maker (no levels editor!). It will run in Windows XP and Vista.

Sounds interesting. Would be nice to have some new levels for Superfrog. Do you plan it for the Amiga? Is it just an idea yet or do already have started the project?
Well, nonetheless you get a from me

I think he means an entire new game from scratch. Which would be ambitious indeed - but one I'd love to see. Interesting to see if it would be on the Amiga or for Windows. Either way consider me interested.

They've got more then you think, but since you don't think much...
Ah STFU!

GH wins the round!

The problem is imho with the desired platform and the tool used to create it, but... who knows... something nice might show up.
I'm both thumbs up.

I'm working on it! But I must say that the contributions of fellow EABers in the department of ideas, (play)testing or just a simple evaluation are even more horrifyingly absent.

Floppy disk About project.

About project.
The game is being made using Game Maker (no levels editor like "Froggy"!). It will run in Windows XP and Vista.

I agree, SuperFrog was the worse game ever created. Why anyone would want to make a sequel is beyond me.

Maybe being at the age of 12, I was unable to appreciate the game. If I was 4 maybe I would have loved the game, .

if the purpose is only to create new levels, why not use the original engine and Exl editor?

@jotd: from what I've seen they plan to add some extra things impossible without debugging the original engine.

Bah, another secret undercover action...
Well, not too excited about the Game Maker bit, but let's wait and see.
