50p and a bag of grapes?

More seriously you've got some fabulous desirable stuff there-well worth splitting

If you split and sold separately there is easy £1500 in hardware alone perhaps more with good eBay adverts + forum links.

Sell to someone like AmigaKit (the shop) for a fixed price would be your best bet.

I Know, but I have'nt used most of it in about 3 years, and my girlfriend has had enough!
Preferably everything goes at once, I'm open to offers on the lot.
There's more, for example, every af, Cu and Amiga active CD, some Aminet CD's, other "interesting" CD's.
But... the buyer would need to collect and look at it all first as most of it has'nt been fired up for a long time. Don't want anyone being unhappy.
If a few of you clubbed together, you'd be laughing.
Don't want to go on evilbay, traders will get the lot then, and rip everyone off

I'd take considerably less than that figure, Alex.
Although, as we all know, it cost me considerably more
I'm off work until next Monday, Come on lads, get your heads together, Would prefer to sell to entusiasts

@Steve James, I recently got rid of most of my miggy stuff and am left with just one A1200 but its unexpanded and struggling to even WHDLoad me some games. So if you have a ram board or accellerator for an A1200 and you'd be willing to split it out i may be interested depending on the price.

Thanks

Mike

where exactly you live in Cheshire, including number and postcode...

and more importantly when is the most likest time NO ONE will be at home..... *hehe*

you have some amazing kit in the list,

I do hope that an enthusiast picks the lot up..... alas you are to far away from me... and well I ran outa pocket money already.... the wife knows my weakness for amiga components LOL

tell you what.... before you sell it all... can I come over and dive into it all and give it cuddles etc?! would that be okay.... its normal right? LOL

I knew a woman would be involved when I read the thread title. This is one of the number one dangers to any avid Amiga collection. Zetro's wife must be made of sterner stuff.... her brain patterns must be duplicated!

I only need a few bits the rest I'd give to the deserving gentlemen/ladies on this board.

Any idea what the shipping price would be for the girlfriend to the States.

... I mean kit. Amiga kit... to the states. Dammit.

Like he said - let the girlfriend know that you'd make a much higher amount by taking a bit of time and piecing it out - then tell her some of the cash might be used for say a romantic trip. Then you'll have time to sort it all out.

Also - anything fun for a basic A500 in there?

Fired up the 4000

Just fired up the working 4000, sweet as a nut
Has a cybervision 64/3d card, cd rom, HD, wb 3.0 and 16mb ram installed.
Also has a lot of software on the HD, which has 3 partitions.
Will update list accordingly.
Going to fire up as much as I can today, but there's so much stuff, I can't get through all of it.
Also, I've forgotten a lot, and I did'nt know much to start with!
The Non-working 4000, stopped when I cut the battery out, as it had started to leak. It did'nt boot at all after that, so obviously I did something wrong, took out everything, would'nt boot from floppy.
So, if you know more than me about these things, could be an easy fix, I don't know
That machine has 3.1 roms, hd ,cd rom.
Had a few offers off people to split things, will wait a while to see if it goes as a job lot.
I will reply to all PMs in due course.

Thanks
Steve

Would love a 4000 - been after one for years. Just never found a decent one at a good price.

A rough ball park figure would be good though to see if I can afford any - also, if I can, I am up at the weekend so would want to know if collection is okay then.

Assuming you want to get rid of some of the stuff so quickly.

Power tower 060

Just fired up the power tower, booted easily, I remember why I stopped using this Amiga as soon as it booted.
I had someone with more knowledge set this up for me, mediator and voodoo running fine, but.... I HAD to tinker with things I don't fully understand.
Think I tried to re-install 3.9 and then could'nt get it back as it was.
At the time everyone around here had abandoned the Amiga, so I was stuck!!
This Amiga has an 060 Blizzard with memory (also have the blizzard scsi card available, with memory on board) , removable hd caddy, Internal Zip drive, Power flyer gold, Poseidin??? usb, Mediator, Voodoo 3 and I think a soundblaster card. Comes with the revised mach chips and the mmcd.
Running at the moment, through the native output (aga)
will need setting up by someone more knowledgable than me.
Face of case in very yellowed, owned by a smoker before me.

Cheers

Steve

BUT as I have the skills its my duty to repair! *ahem... well thats what I would tell the missues

Price!

Ok people, after much consideration, and nagging from the dragon!
I've reluctantly put a price on all this goodness.

£1000

If no-one is interested as a job lot, there are people in line for seperate items.
First come, first served, the people who have offered what I consider to be a reasonable amount will be pm'ed first.
Thank you Gentleman.

Steve

p.s. as I have a van, I could possibly deliver a reasonable distance for deisel only.

Yes you can, don't like paypal though as I believe I'll get charged for the privilege!
Cheque is fine, although I will have to wait until it clears.
Sorry, been burnt before.
And of course cash is always nice, if I'm out, leave under the 3rd stone on the left outside my house

Hi Mike
Just tried the ateo for someone else, don't work.
Don't know why!
If you're prepared to tinker and have a mess about to try and sort it out, it's yours for free.
Has a floppy. keyboard interface and a four way ide interface.
don't know what's not right, that's the chance you take.
Also, collection only, sorry.
Also are you still interested in the 8mb ram card?
Does £30 sound reasonable?
Let me know.

Steve.

I'd offer £150 for the A4000. I could collect towards the end of the month and pay cash.
