Owned an A500, A500+ and an accelerated (with an 060 woooo!) A1200.
Couple of mates owned A600s and CD32s and another (more serious type) mate had an A1500 and massively expanded A4000....

Happy times!

I was shocked to see I was the only one so far to touch them all

still, strange poll

Ya missing Draco too, perhaps it hasn't got the custom chip set? but it does have an 060 at heart and runs AmigaOS.

Slayer, you've only touched them - not truly played with them . Yeah, I'm bitter and jealous

The only machine I've never taken to bits, stripped, fixed, cursed, etc is strangely a 1200... My 1000 is in bits, the kickstart adaptor isn't working as it should. The 2,3,4ks are all pretty tip top, config wise... My favourite is still the 500, but if I can get the 1000 working as I'd like it to, I might change allegiance

@chiark

I'll give you that yes. But I've still got lots of life left in me yet. One day I'll power up the various CDTVs A1000s and maybe a Draco.

It's only those 3 systems I haven't actually turned on

as for bitter and twisted, do not worry brother, admitting it is halfway to healing it but then, who wants to heal that which is a good feeling at times? The darn choices life throws at us hmmm...

The only model I've never owned or played with is the A1000. Quite rare in the UK so never even seen one.

And the only other model I've never owned is a CDTV, although I did play around with CDTV's when they were in the shops years ago.

CDTV

I haven't seen live any of them actually.

The others were models that I own/owned, so pretty much used and abused.

I never play much with my 1000, not had it on in months. It's a quirky antique which I hold dear. It's like a military computer with the ceramic chips and over the top case... oh and those signatures... timeless.... If it were a woman I'd feed it grapes every minute of the day

What were sales figures for non-A500 & A1200?

I always wondered how many actually owned the other Amigas (apart from A500 and A1200) - their price put them out of reach of most of us.

Good Q, MF.

I own everything except a 1200, but that's through buying bargains at the right time... Most I've spent on an Amiga was 600 quid for a second hand 3000 in 1994: the cheque for the Tabby graphics tablet driver paid for that

There can be only one... A500.

In fact, I wasn't even aware there was something else besides 500, 1000 and 2000 before I picked up my old habbit some months ago..

First time I really played games on the Amiga was a friend's 1000. Bought a 500, and 1200. Friends had a 2000 and 3000. Toyed with a CDTV a few times at a local store (always thought that was a piece of crap, though..).

AND I'm from the US so neener.

Wow - where abouts?

I'm in the northeast - even mention the word Amiga around here... to older tech guys even, and you get blank stares. This is from my boss too - who had a school computer lab full of TRS-80s.

maybe I'm just in the wrong region for this stuff :P

It would be interesting to find sales figures of each model in each country just to see what the proportions of each model were.

Obviously the A500 was the most manufactured Amiga in its various forms. I would then guess it is the A2000, followed by the A1200 and then possibly the A600. I can't imagine the A1000 or A3000 were made in huge quantities compared to the rest. Not sure about the A4000.

As for buying them new. I only purchased an A600, A1200, and CD32 brand new. The rest I got given for free or purchased second-hand. Best buy was my A4000 for £250 in 1996.
