Can't wait for the weekend, so I can finally try the Armalyte remake A X-Out remake would be incredible, but I guess this one will soothe the pain for now

Well if enough buy this game on EAB, perhaps we can make it part of a Retro Remake League style competition as we do with the Amiga, C64, SNES, Megadrive ..etc..

And yes, an X-Out remake would DEFINITELY be incredible, but ONLY if its done by this maker of the Armalyte remake

Any news? Armalyte was announced for July 2009. I hope it isn't another Duke.

OT, but Jets 'n' Guns is very similar to X-Out in many ways; it'll tide you over until an actual remake appears.

From the comments it looks like one of their next projects will be a Last Ninja remake.

I'm looking forward to their Last Ninja Remake. A great chance to improve the controls.

Jerky scrolling? You mean the Amiga port, which is a completely different game? The PC remake is very smooth.
