Truly funny games are very rare IMO. I've probably played less than 5 in over 20 years. Monkey Island is probably the game that made me laugh the most, but even that isn't laugh my arse off funny.

I think Wizkid is a very funny game, clearly put together by people who didn't take themselves too seriously and it showed.

Anything by Archer MacLean (all two? ), Lemmings, Worms, Speedball II, BIP, Master Blaster...

Games causing swearing: same, plus Paradroid, Nebulus, Vroom, Pinball series,...

[Edit: ehh, someone beat me to it ]

I second Doman, many laughs playing it for two reasons:crappy quality and
mutilate the enemies is very fun

Art Of Breaking Heads for similar reasons although it is not gore some blows are forceful and the pain screams are funny.

Rick Dangerous (The "Whaaaaaaaugh!" scream)
Chuck Rock
Bubba'n'Stix
Lucas Arts games

To be honest I think the previous generation 8-bit machines had funnier games. Amiga games were more serious in general.

Up untill Grim Fandango on the PC, the closest I got to finding something cleverly funny was Monkey Island. I've played plenty of silly games that were always good for s**ts & giggles though.

Amiga games never made me laugh i was a totally serious amiga gamer and i was devasted when the shops in oldham stopped selling amiga games

Its was probably about 10 years ago when that happened, a lot of more modern games have more humour, my craptop can run gta sanandreas at a decent speed and there is a bit of humor in that.
