amiga 500<->cdtv. games compatibility

hi, I have a standard cdtv with 1 mb ram, external floppy drive and keyboard.
so, I wanted to play the games that usually play with my amiga 500.
But some games, like swos or f1gp, don't work..why?
I know that these games work on expanded amiga 500, with 1 mb of ram. but also my cdtv has 1 mb.
maybe different ram "type" ?

CDROM driver and buffers that some memory. You can remove jumper JP15 to disable CDTV ROMs.

CDTV is basically same as 1M chip RAM A500 = not all games work, some require 0.5+0.5 configuration. (but at least F1GP shouldn't care)
