Wink Rainbow Islands, which is the best version?

for me:

1. Master System (different hero, better playability) http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/sms/image/570216.html
2. Amiga
3. Mega Drive (crappy controls, something wrong with colors) http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/gene...ge/579725.html

Arcade version for me, although the Amiga version is excellent. Not played any others.

The first version I ever owned was on the Spectrum, I thought that was the best until I played the Amiga version & quickly changed my mind.

The first version I experienced was on the C64. The graphics were ok and the speed was good.
The multiload wasn't too bad either.

The PS1 version with nicer graphics is good for an odd half hour also.

The new DS version (with bubbles) sucks.

of those i've played....

Amiga as #1
Arcade (i prefer 'up' to jump rather than a jump button)
ZX Speccy
PS1
SMS
DS version does indeed suck hard.

@ s2325 the megadrive version you linked to was "rainbow islands extra" which is a really messed up version that should be thought of as a completely seperate game.

Never played anything else than the Amiga version, but I found it to be really good, so guess I didn't missed much
