Extracting .lzx files

How do you guys extract .lzx files from Windows? I always use the Amiga to do that but currently I'm stuck with lots of lzx files that I have to check the contents of.

There's something on Aminet called unLZX 95 or something like that, it does it fine

just drag and drop your .LZX files onto the executable.

Windows Commander

I use Norton Commander to (almost) everything, including extracting LZX files.

Since I used a lot Norton Commander with MSDOS, when I moved
to Win 95 I tried to find a similiar program, and I've found this great piece of software: Windows Commander, wich is a NC clone, much better than the official NC for windows.

With WC I can browse through compacted archives (zip, rar, ace, jar, z, gz, tgz, and many more) as if they were simple directory, so you com copř, view, delete, include, whatever.

And there are also plugins available so that WC can work with many other files, like LZX, D64, and many more

I used to extract lha files with Windows Commander then realized that it failed to extract some files correctly. Later, I discovered WinRAR. Windows Commander is a very good utility anyway. I didn't know it could extract lzx as well.

Just go to WC Web Site, then go to the addons page, there are at least two addons that allow one to extract LZX files.

I never had any problem with lha files.. hope it was a bug they've corrected.
